We have years of experience as General Counsel/Head of Legal and were in the leadership teams in successful and fast growing software/SaaS companies, and a CLM provider.
We were responsible for all global legal matters and managed the legal teams.
We have experience as lawyers and managers in successfully guiding companies through different growth phases and acting and being perceived as business partners and enablers.
We have also worked in the legal departments of enterprises such as Google, N26 and Otto Group.
As consultants, we have now seen many other legal departments from the inside.

We have built up legal departments at Open-Xchange, HiveMQ and PocketLaw "from scratch", including all relevant technical and organizational processes.
For example, we implemented legal tech solutions, hired and built a team, supported financing rounds, provided legal advice and support for the companies' international expansions, created playbooks, conducted training sessions and hundreds of enterprise deals.
In the process, we supported the companies in doubling or tripling their ARRs.
In these roles, we were always caught between legal and business and repeatedly faced the challenge of positioning ourselves in the companies and managing conflicts.

In total, we can look back on around ten years of experience as lawyers in the technology sector. Since then, our particular focus has been on software & SaaS, IoT/M2M, cloud, finance and telecommunications.
